What brought you to Salinas City Elementary School District?

A head custodian from a school within SCESD encouraged me. He talked about SCESD being a great place to work at.

What keeps you motivated and inspired on a daily basis?

I enjoy keeping the school clean for the children and staff.

What does your award mean to you?

This award shows that my work is recognized and that I must be doing a good job.

What is the most gratifying thing about your job?

Seeing our students, parents, and staff happy because they are proud of being at our clean and safe school.

Any advice for new educators?

Do your job well and always be happy!
