After a few days to process our inaugural "March Against Bullying" event, it was really a great pleasure to experience such a great moment for the City of Salinas.
The day felt so powerful due to the amount of support we had from our city. Not only did we have more than 900 students in attendance, we also had a great amount of Salinas High students, chaperones, parents, staff, administrators, City officials, Police and Fire departments, and media all standing together in efforts to push away bullying from our classrooms and to bring 'upstander' behavior to light.
The video is now up on YouTube. Please take a look and see the huge step our city took in efforts to rid this community of bullying.
