The Public Relations Department, embedded within the Superintendent’s Office, is responsible for all aspects of the Salinas City Elementary School District’s public information program and coordinates public relations, advertising, community relations, and government relations, internally and externally. The Communications and Public Relations Officer establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with all news media, stakeholders, and acts as a District spokesperson. This position also promotes the district through digital mediums including video and social media. The department also maintains the district website and helps plan and coordinate some district events.
