The Salinas City Elementary School District announces the sponsorship of the Seamless Summer Feed Program for the 2017 summer.  Free meals will be made available to all attending children who are 18 years of age or younger at the following school sites:

Sherwood Elementary School  |  110 S. Wood St. 

June 5 - August 2, Mon-Fri (no schoolJuly 3rd and 4th)

Time: Breakfast 8:00 to 8:30    7/5-7/28 only

Lunch 11:30am - 12:30pm6/5-6/30 and 7/31-8/2

El Gabilan Elementary School  |  1256 Linwood Dr.

June 19-July 20, Mon-Thursday only (no school July 3rd and 4th))

Time: Breakfast 7:30-8:00    Lunch: 11:30pm -12:00pm

Natividad Elementary School  |  1465 Modoc Ave

June 12 - August 2 (no school July 3rd and 4th)

Time: Lunch 12pm - 12:30, Breakfast served only 6/27-7/12 at 7:30am - 8:00am

University Park Elementary School  |  833 W. Acacia St.

June 26 -July 25, Mon-Fri 

Time: Breakfast 8:00am-8:30am    Lunch 12pm-1:00pm

Childhood food insecurity remains at unacceptable levels in California. Children are most acutely at risk in the summer when they do not have consistent access to healthy meals. The Salinas City Elementary School District works with the USDA to operate summer meal programs to address this problem. Attached is a list of dates, times and locations of our summer feeding program within our community. Anyone 18 and under is welcome to enjoy a free breakfast and/or lunch at any location during the times listed. See you soon!
