Verification of Address
One utility bill or other appropriate documentation will be necessary to verify your current residency
Acceptable Documents:
- PG&E Bill
- Tax Bill
- Waste Management Bill
- MRWPCA Bill
- Property Tax Bill
- Rental Agreement
- *Note: We will not accept car payments/bills as proof of residency

Birth Certificate
A birth certificate, baptismal record, passport, or other acceptable proof of birth are required in order to register your child.
Enrolling for 2022/23: Age requirement for Kindergarten: Your child must be five (5) years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2022.
Age requirement for Transitional Kindergarten: Your child must be five (5) years of age between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023.
Enrolling for 2023/24: Age requirement for Kindergarten: Your child must be five (5) years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2023.
Age requirement for Transitional Kindergarten: Your child must be five (5) years of age between September 2, 2023 and April 2, 2024.Affidavit of Birth in Lieu of Birth Certificate

Immunization Record
- Law SB277 requires all incoming students to be fully immunized or have a medical exemption from their physician.If your child is missing an immunization, you may either:

- Consult with your primary care physician for immunization record completed, OR
-
Visit the immunization clinic at the Alisal Health Center, 559 E. Alisal St., Ste, 202, Salinas. Their phone number is 831-769-8870.

Oral Health Assessment
California Education Code 49452.8, requires that your child have an oral health assessment by May 31 in Kindergarten or first grade, whichever is his or her first year of public school. You may present either:

Verification of an oral health assessment performed (by a licensed dentist or other licensed or registered dental health professional) within the 12 months before your child enters school, OR
- A completed the Oral Health Assessment Waiver form [Link]

Health Screening
State law requires that each child entering school present either:

A Health Screening Certificate with a recorded physical exam dated after March 1, 2023, OR
-
A completed Health Screening Waiver form indicating that health services are declined.

STEP 3: BEGIN ONLINE PROCESS

- NOTE: The Enrollment Process is NOT COMPLETE until step 4 is completed in person
STEP 4: SUBMIT COPIES
Submit a printed confirmation of online enrollment along with the supporting documents.
The following documents are required in-person:
- Printed Confirmation of Online Enrollment
- Student's Age Validation: Original Birth Certificate or Valid Passport (If unable to upload to the Aeries online enrollment portal)
- Student's Current Immunization Records: in any format including online
- Parent/Guardian Identification: Please provide a valid Driver's License or state-issued ID (for verification purposes)
- IEP or 504 Plan, if applicable
- Proof of Address (If unable to upload to the Aeries online enrollment portal)
