Dear Families and SCESD Community,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!

We eagerly await welcoming our students back on August 8! We are excited to continue working together to support all our students and families. By focusing on the whole child and developmental learning environments, we aim to inspire students to excel, become empowered learners, and contribute to a dynamic global community.

The Student and Family Information Handbook, detailing the rights and responsibilities of parents, families, guardians, and students, will be distributed to each student on the first day of school and you may also find it on our website under the "Families" tab. There are pages that families must return signed to the school, so please read them carefully.

Our SCESD Community values joy, connection, and belonging. Fostering joy creates flourishing spaces for students, staff and families. Prioritizing connection builds relationships that encourage growth, collaboration, and respect. Emphasizing belonging ensures everyone feels valued and accepted.

We are grateful for our outstanding teaching, classified, and administrative staff who support our students and families in every way possible. We also appreciate our educational partnerships with families, businesses, and the community.

Our vision is to inspire and ensure students recognize their talents to excel, become empowered learners, and make valuable contributions to a dynamic global community. We are committed to inclusive academic excellence, ensuring every student can achieve their highest potential. We invite you to join us in realizing this vision and goal for all our children.

Warmly,
Rebeca Andrade, Ed.D.
