MCSIG 2026 Rates: Help Us Qualify for Preferred Rates!

What’s Changing?
MCSIG is launching a Preferred vs. Standard Rate structure for the 2026 plan year. To get Preferred (lower) rates, the District needs 80% of employees enrolled in medical to complete the steps below by September 15, 2025.
If we don’t meet the 80% goal, we’ll receive Standard Rates (higher premiums).

Claims Administration Transition:
MCSIG is transitioning to Delta Health Systems (DHS) for medical claims processing, effective July 1, 2025. Members will receive new ID cards from DHS in mid-June, which must be used beginning July 1. Members will continue to have access to the Blue Shield PPO network and Express Scripts for their pharmacy benefits.
New Transcarent Cancer Care Program
We’re pleased to announce the launch of MCSIG’s new Cancer Care program with Transcarent, starting June 1. This comprehensive benefit is designed to support members and their caregivers through every stage of the cancer journey — from early screening and diagnosis to treatment and survivorship.
Please note: This program does not apply to members enrolled in Kaiser, Trio, or CompleteCare plans.
During the session, you’ll hear from Transcarent experts:
- Sandy Goldstein, VP of Quality and Clinical Operations, will share how the program provides personalized guidance throughout the care journey.
- Shelley Usher, Senior Manager of Oncology Nurse Navigation, will explain the critical role nurse navigators play in offering expert support, emotional care, and seamless coordination.
