All of Us for Every Child

During the 2025-2026 school year, SCESD engaged in a Districtwide approach focused on establishing clear, consistent expectations for all schools while continuously strengthening instructional practices and systems that support student success. This is known as "Define the Floor, Refine the Core."

By defining the floor, we ensure every site is aligned to essential requirements, processes, and supports. By refining the core, we focus on improving the quality of instruction, intervention systems, and data-informed decision-making across the district.

At the heart of this work is what's known as the "Baseline Study," in which the systems and structures of seven District schools were deeply examined. The remaining eight schools were also examined, although at a less deep level.
