Extended Learning

About Us

Welcome to our Elementary District's Extended Learning Department, where collaboration is at the heart of our mission. We believe in the power of working together with teachers, parents, youth, school representatives, government agencies, and individuals from community-based organizations and the private sector to create a comprehensive support system for our students. Our dedicated department oversees a myriad of extended learning opportunities across all fifteen school sites. Designed for students in grades TK through six, our programs are crafted to offer a holistic approach to education, focusing on literacy, academic enrichment, technical development, and transitional support. We are committed to fostering an environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and personally through these engaging and enriching programs.

The District's Extended Learning Program is funded by two main grants, known as ASES (for After School Education and Safety Program) and ELOP (for Extended Learning Opportunities Program). Please click the links below to read the complete ASES and ELOP plans.
