Vision and Hearing screenings are done when students are in the following grades:  

• Kindergarten
• 2nd
• 5th
• Special Education

If a student fails a health screening, a letter will be sent home, asking the parent to take their child to a medical provider to get further evaluated and provide the school's Health Technician with any reports. 

If your child is not in the grades listed above and you feel your child needs to be screened, please take them to a medical provider, if applicable, OR contact your school site Health Technician and they will place them on a “referral list” to be screened during the school year, if the, district's contracted vendor has not already completed the school sites yearly screenings.
