Care Solace

Salinas City Elementary School District is committed to the well-being of all students, staff, and their families and partnered with Care Solace to provide an additional layer of support. Care Solace navigates the mental health care system on your behalf to find community-based providers and secure appointments as quickly as possible with the best care possible.

Their coordination services are paid for by Salinas City Elementary School District and are provided at no cost.

Here is how to connect with Care Solace on your or your child's journey to seek assistance:

First, visit the Care Solace website . Once there, you can choose to search for a provider, or you can call one of Care Solace's Care Companions to assist you.

If you choose to work with a Care Companion, you'll go through a brief screening so Care Solace can best understand your needs. Your Care Companion will find a provider who best matches your needs, and keep you updated on the search.

From there, your Care Companion will help you arrange an appointment with the provider of your choice, and follow up with you after the appointment to make sure you were satisfied with your provider.

Care Solace's services to help you find a mental health professional are free. Care Solace also will assist you in finding a provider that accepts private or public insurance, or offers services on a sliding payment scale. Their providers are community-based.
